First Holy Communion

We are very proud of all 47 of the children who took their First Holy Communion on Saturday 19th May. Thank you to Mrs Martín for preparing them so well, to Mrs Carveth and the choir for the beautiful music, and to the parents and families for their support.

Dance Evening

Congratulations to all who participated in the Dance Evening on 24th Evening. The students demonstrated a fantastic array of music and dance skills, all expertly choreographed by Mr Roberto. Thanks also to the hundreds of parents and family members who came to watch.

Summer Camp

This year's Summer Camp will take place between 2 and 20th July in our Rosa Jardón 1 premises. It is open to children aged between 1 and 9 and both part-time or full day options are available. As well as English classes, students will have the opportunity to take part in sports, games, arts and crafts, drama, cookery activities and much more! Swimming lessons and off site excursions are also available. Full details can be found here.

Christmas Shows

Many thanks to all of the children, parents and teachers who helped to make this year's Christmas performances such a great success. Foundation Stage performed some Christmas classics, KS1 presented 'A Miracle in Town' and in KS2 we had 'A Midwife Crisis' and 'The Magic of Christmas'. The shows were so popular that we were able to fill an 800 seat local theatre on two separate nights! In addition to this, our choir from Year 3 went on 18th December to visit our local old people's home to perform Christmas carols for them.

Art Contest

The ISM 11th annual Art Contest in the Primary School was a terrific success.  The theme this year was 'Amazing Animals' and more than one hundred children from Nursery to Year 6 participated.  Well done to all those who took part and helped to organise the event.

Sporting Success

Congratulations to the Year 6/7 Basketball and Football teams who both have recently come second in inter-schools tournaments! And a very well done to the girls who won the bronze medal in the tournament in the San Sebastian de los Reyes Municipal Sports Centre last term.

Happy Hallowe'en!

Hallowe'en was a lot of fun again this year. We all had a lot fun dressing up in scary costumes and having parties. We also enjoyed our lunch of rats tails, fried brains with blood sauce and juicy eyeballs for dessert.

Outstanding Academic Success by ISM pupils

The Outstanding Learner Awards are given by Cambridge each year to pupils who achieve Top in Spain, Top in the World and Highest Achievement in particular subjects at GCSE, AS and A-Level. Over the last seven years ISM has been awarded a very large number of these, often ranking first or second in Spain, among more than 80 centres that enter for CIE exams. This year our students have once again been given an amazing nine awards.

Below is a summary of our success since the awards were started ...
